Ship Engineering be the official
journal of the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers
Ship Engineering is the official journal of the Chinese Society of
Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (CSNAME), the main media in
the shipping industry and the national technical key journal. Since
its publication in 1979, it is significant in promoting technical
advance in shipbuilding industry, boosting the development of ship
research, reporting news in the society and offering products information.
The journal has become a publication of engineering technology with
the largest circulation and the widest range of delivery in the field
of ship and marine engineering.
Ship Engineering has been enrolled into the China Academic Periodicals
(CD edition). At the same time, it has entered the technical journal
group of Wanfang Data System (chinainfo) of "China Journal".
The publication contents of Ship Engineering are mainly about introduction
and popularization of new products, new technologies, new materials
and the thesis about application research, practical technique and
management science. Its columns include ship general performance
and structure, ship owner, auxiliary machinery, marine navigation
and communication, specialized equipment, shipbuilding and ship-repairing
workmanship, and shipbuilding management and administration. The
magazine is supplied mainly for engineers and technicians engaged
in design and construction, managerial personnel and college students
to read.
Ship Engineering is organized by the Chinese Society of Naval Architects
and Marine Engineers (CSNAME) and untaken by the Editorial &
Publishing Department of Shanghai Marine Equipment Research Institute
(CSIC).
